This shoot was inspired by classic television shows like Good Times, drawing from the warmth, style, and cultural significance of 1970s Black family life. Instead of leaning into traditional holiday attire or standard Christmas cards, I chose a more unorthodox approach—one that nods to the past while reimagining what a family portrait can look like.
The goal was to create our own version of a family “special,” blending nostalgia with modern creative direction. This project was styled and directed as a fictional television show concept, designed specifically for my website to feel like a curated TV lineup—intentional, clean, and story-driven.
